    Primary Blade Waterfall

The Primary Blade Waterfall is a graphical display of the blade deflections. It displays all of the blades for a selected probe or probe difference in a waterfall format with the lowest blade number at the bottom. This graphical presentation is used for a visual evaluation of the content within a data file, development of the zero positions of the blades and application of time domain filtering. The visual evaluation should include a data quality check and a response identification.

    Probe Selection

    Probe Selection

This allows the user to down select the probes that are available for processing. Most analysis types assume that the probe set consists of similar probes at various circumferential locations. This requires removing probes from the set if they are not of a similar type and location such as a trailing edge probe in a set of leading edge probes or a spot probe in a set of line probes. This can also be used to remove a “bad” probe from a set. By default all the probes selected. Deselect by removing the checkmark and hitting OK or Apply. The use of this function will exit any current analysis type.

    Batch Analysis

Batch Analysis is software routine which allows the user to process a set of files with a pre-selected set of analysis packs. Analysis packs are files which contain all the information needed to process a response. Analysis packs are generated within Offline Analysis. A sample data file is processed for a given response. When it is determined that the analysis has been properly performed, the analysis parameters can be downloaded to an analysis pack file for use with a future Batch analysis. Batch analysis outputs to a predetermined directory structure all the desired bitmaps, text files, power point presentations that have been selected by the user using the standard Offline Output Selection panels. Batch analysis also generates a summary text file which includes general file info as well as analysis specific results. The following diagram shows the Batch Analysis’s relationship with the Offline Analysis software.
